Michael Silence points out an interesting (and extremely rare) weather pattern in Tennessee this morning:
[T]he winds are moving west in West TN, east in East TN and they appear mostly stagnant in Middle TN.
Well, that’s easy enough to explain. It’s football season, and Vanderbilt sucks.
(Okay, that wasn’t nice. Tennessee fans have no business making fun of another team right now. I apologize and will go stand in the corner for the rest of the day.)

Hey, it’s happened before. I’m no Vandy fan, Vols first, but i do follow Vandy since i’m in the area now and they’ve got all their starters back and they held their own against LSU until the late 4th. They were in that game until late, i think they will beat UT, especially given the incompetant play of Jonathan Crapton.
Vandy is by no means a great football team, but they are good enough to make another run at a bowl game this year with everybody back, and i don’t think UT is that good right now…maybe UT makes some strides this year, but to do that the D is gonna have to win the games for them.
You’ve been out there in Nashville too long. I bet you wear vest sweaters over button-down shirts and go to the games with the other 300 Vanderbilt fans and yell “Go Dores! Defeat the Vols!”

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say Vandy is a better team right now than the Vols…and i really think they will beat UT this year.

You’re nuts. I mean, you’ve absolutely lost it. Enjoy that limb, because it’s going to come crashing down in November.

LSU? They’re coached by The Hat and John Chavis. Washington stayed in the game with LSU . . . WASHINGTON. They were 0-11 last year.
