As winter drags hopelessly along and with cold temps (and snow?) on the horizon, it might help to think warm thoughts. It won’t be long until spring—and then summer—is upon us…shellcrackers will be nesting, smallmouth will be spawning, flatheads will be lurking the weedbeds…

You don’t have to tell me to think warm thoughts. I’ve been wanting warm lake going weather for some time. Yeah, that’s right, you are hearing this from somebody that has always wanted all the snow we could get. I still like snow, only in moderation I guess that is a sign that I am getting old. But I do enjoy a nice camping trip to the lake and going out on the boat.
