Trapping
Sam Anderson was born in Millington Tennessee and later moved to Scott County.
A deep rooted passion for the outdoors, he likes to Hunt, Fish and Trap. After high school he joined the United States Navy and retired in 2005.
"Trapping was a way of life for my grandfather, he used the money from trapping to help support his family," he says. "Although the fur price has not been on an upward trend since the 70’s, I still enjoy getting out there and running my lines. Trapping is an art form that most people seem to have forgotten. I would like to encourage you to get out there and set a few traps with you children and share the experience of the outdoors with a youngster. All you turkey hunters out there sure could help your turkey population explode with a handful of well placed traps."
